The beneficial qualities of the Montecatini Spa water are used together with the most up to date aesthetical, beauty, and general well-being treatments. The treatment packages include one, three, or seven day programs, giving the possibility even to the busiest people to dedicate some of their time to their well-being and their beauty.

The name of this spa bath, discovered in 1370, comes - according to the legend - from the small roof that the peasants placed above the spring for shelter. In the 18th century the Tuscan Grand-Duke Leopoldo ordered the construction of the first spa bath, whose façade is today a national monument. The other wonderful structures were made in the '20s by Ugo Giovannozzi, the architect renowned for his Art Nouveau works. The Tettuccio springs are a concentrate of beauty given thanks to the artwork of artists of the time: Basilio Cascella decorated with majolica, marble and travertine the Water Gallery; Carlo G. Moroni and the Artist Galileo Chini decorated the reading room and the post and telegraph room, and Maria Biseo frescoed the café walls with Tuscan and Umbrian landscapes. The orchestra stand was done by Giovannozzi while the new hall was done in 1989 by the architect Paolo Portoghesi. The Tettuccio baths are more than just a name, they are a symbol of the town and of its glorious past.

The traditional thermal treatment of the liver, digestive tract and metabolism disorders, is now supported by modern and appropriate tecniques of preventive medicine and rehabilitation wich are suitable for rheumatic, post-traumatic and joint affections. Modern and luxurious thermal centers offer a wide range of therapies: water drinking, baths, mud-baths, thermal pool, inhalations, beautycare, gynaecological treatment, physiotherapy, medical gymnastics, massages.
The natural sweat-caves in Monsummano Terme (few minutes away from the villa too) represent a valuable complementary therapeutic facility.
The town's large parks, covering a 500.000 s.q. metre area, garantee full relaxation, help find a better psyco-physical balance, and obtain a true "remise en forme"
The Panteraie natural park (few minutes away from the villa), with its 12 hectares of forests is an uncontaminated natural setting, with centuries-old trees, which offers relaxation, tranquillity and fine, fresh air. The park is crises-crossed by "life paths", created according to rigorous clinical criteria in order to combine the benefits of exercise with those of the spa treatments.
